The toilet leaked in the home that I rent. My landlord isn't the best at returning my calls, and I knew that it needed to be re-mediated right away. Mike showed up at my door and right away treated me like family. Even after the job was completed, he helped me communicate with my landlord. Fedele Construction under the leadership of Mike Fedele is such an answer. I not only hired him a second time - I hired him a THIRD time; and then a FOURTH time. This small family owned and operated company can handle complex rebuilds and rehabs far beyond what their size might suggest. Mike and his team tore out, remediated, and totally replaced a finished basement space of nearly 1000 sq. ft. He did this to completion within 12 hours of my needing the emergency work done. A hurricane caused power failure that created 8 inches of water in that space. The job was finished, including mold abatement treatment, replacement of wall board, and baseboards and woodwork/doors, all within a week. He also negotiated with a preferred wish insurance company that accepted his estimates and work and who paid the claim at 100%.

I hired Mike again to act as a General Contractor to supervise extensive woodwork repairs, total exterior/interior painting, and window replacement. He managed 3 other contractors for that job which came in on time and under budget ~! The other projects I hired him for were similar in focus but of slightly lesser scale. And, again, on time and under budget. He was recognized by insurance companies and he was effective in negotiating settlements with their agents. Fedele Construction also uses dependable sub-contractors which is often a very hard thing to come by with construction managers.

He shows up within 24 hours to give a personal estimate including written documentation with a REAL price estimate. If he take the job his team shows up on the day they say with proper equipment and on time. They clean up the work areas every day the job continues. And if there is a problem during the project Mike answers the phone within an hour to resolve whatever it is - manpower, change order, equipment, glitch - anything.

His billing is accurate, clear, and written in invoice form with license numbers and insurance policy numbers for his men and business.
